Style Code: 526628-101
Release date: December 18th, 2015
The black and white silhouette design of the Flyknit Racer “Orca” was so popular that the colourway was released twice. The only change between the first release and the second release was the colour of the tongue was changed from white to black.
In 2015 this colourway was released for a third time but in this instance Nike added a subtle change to add some bright flare to the shoe. The upper portion of the shoe is still black/white but the Flywire that threads through the shoe are the famous Volt colour that was used on the first ever Flyknit Racer release.
The midsole and uppersole are the standard black/white that Nike has used for many of these releases but it has proven to be a successful design formula for fans of the shoes.
This colourway was quite hyped upon release and sold out across Europe. Due to the fact that this was a general release and large quantities of the shoe were made you will not find it difficult to pick these up for a reasonable price or even for retail price. This is a very clean colourway and will almost certainly make up for anyone who was not fortunate enough to purchase either of the first two Orca releases.
