Colourway: Dark Grey/Black-Blue Glow-Pink Flash
Release date: 28th June 2013
This colourway is the most sought after flyknit racer ever produced. There was an exclusive release at Nike Stadium Milano on April 12th 2013, followed by 1948 London on April 13th. The sneaker was then given a general release in the summer of 2013 and the hype for these shoes has grown ever since. Sneakerheads that are looking to buy a pair of these racers will now have to pay over double the original retail price for them.
No two pairs of this colourway are the same due to the fact that each side is weaved using a combination of random colours. The black tongue and laces provide a nice contrast to the bright flyknit upper.
The flyknit racer multicolor was such a large success that a slightly different variation of the shoe was released in September 2015 named the multicolor 2.0. To the majority of people, the original colourway will always remain the ‘holy grail’ of racers.
